So yesterday, taking advantage of no protestors clogging up the streets of London, i decided to pop out for a wee walk, had to visit the homie Sina at Nike for a spot of lunch. Its a pretty new store, nice size and caters mostly for ID business.

After eating a rather bland pub burger (chips were nice though) i walked passed the Stussy store on Earlham street to find it ‘boarded’ up, closed, finished for business, down the drain, times are hard, Footpatrol dead, Stussy dead, Bape dead (but soon to return under new management so says word on the street) only Hideout remains, maybe JD Sports can make a better go of things than Gimme 5.

And whilst speaking of doom and gloom i also took a stroll past MHI, closed for business too, i’m kinda sad Maharishi didnt make it through these hard times, some of their stuff was so on point, craftsmanship and attention to detail was often next level, alas opening up the streetwear division MHI in a building hidden away from everywhere was not perhaps the wisest of moves, add to that costs of gutting out and rebuilding the whole site, and a line which never really took off … the book keeping was bound to catch up with them eventually.
On a lighter note, here’s a pic of my cat hiding under the covers away from the noisy builders outside…
