A couple of weeks ago Eddy and I were invited to a lovely, classy, sophisticated Garden Party out in sticksville… This is what I learnt.
STEP ONE – Cook the pig – give it a good 9 to 10 hours basting in its own delicious juices.

(these farmers actually have a pet pig named Mrs Mole.. coincidence? i think not)
STEP TWO – Cram the meat, stuffing and crackling in a fresh bread roll with heaps of apple sauce.

STEP THREE – Try not to drop it all down your new Burberry skirt.

Now top this off with an evening full of champagne and talking bollocks and you have a good old fashioned Garden Party.

Just when you thought you’d seen all the cool stop motion vids..
So a couple weeks back i got the opportunity to go to El Teide volcano in Tenerife Spain, will post more pics over the coming days but here’s a few to get things rolling..

The above shot is taken from the side of the road on the way up to the volcano, maybe an hr from the summit, the shot is above the tree line, above the cloud line, gets a bit dizzy if you looked at it for a while, El Teide is 3700m above sea level..
Above, looking out the van window to the cliffs and drops was often pretty ferkin amazing.

After a really long drive, the volcano appears.. its tough to explain but the volcano is resting within a caldera, so you drive for ages getting higher and higher into this massive bowl, then as you reach the summit, you see El Teide inside and realize how much higher still you have to go..
At the foot of the volcano.. Jesus says no go?..

After the cable car ride up to the ’summit’, its time to head up on foot..

40mins walking later, still not close, at 3700m above sea level the air is a lil scarce and walking becomes a wee bit harder..
Reach our summit…. turn around to see what all the fuss is about..
One last look over the shoulder on the way back.. .. .. more soon come.
